One of the first considerations that one should make when first thinking of the purchase of a new UTV, or any off road vehicle for that matter, is whether or not good product support is available to the end user. All too often with the Chinese off road vehicles, the products are sold by drop shippers on eBay who could not care less about warranty or parts support. Even many vendors selling the Kazuma Mammoth/Monster which is a quality product, have no working knowledge or carry no parts for these units, i.e. CV boots, Bearings, U/joints, Belts, Gaskets and Brake parts etc, many can't even sell you a oil filter! While we do not carry all parts we are in endeavoring to have on hand service parts. This is a huge thing to consider, especially with an off road vehicle, as even on the best of ATVs, UTVs things will eventually wear out and break. We make many modifications to our units to make a good unit better, i.e. adjust clutch and belt tension, modify the diff to make it more water proof, change electrical system, fit a neutral safety switch to name but a few. We have winch kits, roofs, lights, big wheel kits and plow kits... do the others? We are striving to have a track record of providing excellent product support to our customers. Our units often may cost a little more up front, but with the purchase of a ATV, UTV from us, you can be sure that you will not be left high and dry when a breakdown occurs. With that said, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the distributors to avoid. Please consider staying way from purchasing AVTs, UTVs, or other off road vehicles from the following vendors, SUNL, Hanma and Roketa. They have proven themselves to be unreliable to say the least to both their dealers (ask me how I know) and the end user. In fact I will tell you two brief experiences with these vendors. Roketa: The accounts manager, who I had been trying to get hold of for months and caught him because accidentally picked up the phone, called me a liar and hung up on me because I was requesting a refund. I had returned $9000 worth of merchandise because it was ...... to put it nicely .... Junk. Sunl/Hanma: My sale rep, after 3 month of me trying to get replacement parts under warranty, actually any parts would have been nice, (their vehicle broke with 23km on it done over a period of two weeks) told me and I quote "I don't care I'm not going to warranty it" and hung up on me because he knew I could no longer contest the charge on my Credit Card as I only had 2 months in which to do so. I guess the days of the customer service and standing behind your product have long since passed! Many user complaints can be found on the net simply by doing a search on the Web. The better business bureaus where these companies reside are flooded with complaints. Their warranties do not carry the weight of the paper they are written on as parts are usually not available. No matter what they say in writing and on the phone, the end user experience is quite different! These are sold by dealerships under many different names, so it can be difficult for the prospective buyer to understand what they are buying before it is too late. While some suppliers may be selling these vehicles with good intentions (like myself who was sucked in), many are dumping them on folks knowing full well the awful practices that these distributors maintain. You have been warned..... Buy SUNL, Hanma and Roketa products at your own risk! To put things in prospective though, there is a differences in selling total junk and having problems, all brands are going to have issues.
